Jewelry is gold and silver in color, right? Maybe
there are some diamonds sprinkled around, but nothing too exciting.
Well that has changed thanks to accountant turned interior designer
turned jewelry designer Veronica Riley Martens.
Veronica creates wonderfully textured and brightly colored pieces
that speak of tribal adornments from around the world. Utilizing
many different materials such as ribbon, semi-precious stones,
and even kukui nuts, Veronica’s creativity is not limited by conventional
notions of what jewelry is supposed to be. Maybe this lends itself
to her transition from “number crunching” accountant to the Artist
she is today.
